“Is it... now?” asks the question: When? If not now… when? Is it time? Is it now? When I was… When I was… here. io and her collaborators hope to leave the audience with a sense of peaceful wonder. io and Callee's dance film depicts the process of us coming up with an idea or storyline for our dance film. It is a fun, comedic, and carefree watch. Our inspiration for this piece comes from the performance "Revisor" by Crystal Pite. It is a combination of acting, lip-syncing, and dancing, more specifically, gestural movement and bits of pantomime. The sound score will be our conversation. Basically, we’ll be acting out our conversation as a dance (film). *premiered at the San Francisco Dance Film Festival*
